Why we started this company
The portable sanitation business runs on reliability. A job stops when the facilities fail, and that costs money fast. Early in our work we saw the same problem repeat: customers needed someone who knew Skokie's layout, could show up on time, kept equipment clean and didn't vanish when things got difficult. Restroom trailers serve events and larger job sites where you need to move away from a hole-in-the-ground model. These are climate controlled, fully plumbed units with sinks, mirrors and real toilets. Roll-off dumpsters handle the debris. Storage containers hold tools, equipment and materials. Temporary fencing secures a perimeter. Handwashing stations meet the requirement in 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2) that washing facilities provide soap and towels or a hand drying device.
For homes and commercial buildings with septic systems, residential septic tanks are typically pumped every 3 to 5 years depending on tank size and household size. We handle septic tank pumping and grease trap pumping when fats, oils, grease and solids reach 25 percent of the liquid depth.

What should I rent for my crew size?

Do you service on weekends?
Yes. Skokie Porta Pros schedules service calls six days a week. Weekend service is available at a premium rate. Call to book ahead.
What's the difference between a standard and deluxe unit?
A standard unit has a pump-out toilet and a holding tank. A deluxe model adds a flush handle, a larger tank and a higher service interval. Use deluxe when you want to reduce service frequency or when crews expect a more finished bathroom experience.
How long does a delivery take?
Delivery and setup take about 20 to 30 minutes for a standard unit. We call 30 minutes before arrival so you know the truck is coming. No surprise visits.
Can I rent multiple services at once?
Yes. Most construction sites rent a porta potty, a roll-off dumpster, and a handwashing station together. We coordinate delivery, scheduling and billing as one job.
